'April Hath Put a Spirit of Youth in Everything'

My birthday was a week and a half ago, but I just went out this past weekend to celebrate (yup, you guessed it, due to horrible weather).  I always start shopping for my bday dress two months in advance, and I knew this year I wanted something long and sleek with a peekaboo element.  So when I was perusing the pages and pages of Asos clothing, this Aqua dress was a no brainer!  Beside the fact that it's impossible to get on and off without help, I LOVE IT!!  The cut out is just the right amount of sexy! 

Happy 33 me!

Took these shots at my elementary school!  The flowers and painted embellishments are new but that yellow line that we had to line up on and not utter a word is still there!  Many a time did I get detention for speaking out of turn :)  Yup, I was a talker!

If you follow me on Twitter, you know of my ravings about these cuties, and how I couldn't find them in my size. Then, as my luck would have it, I happened to look again a couple of days later and voila! There they were in a 6.5, and they were the last pair. I just received them in the mail last night, ripped the box open, gleefully tried them on and ONE SHOE IS A SIZE SMALLER THAN THE OTHER!!! WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY CONTROL!!! My only hope is that the other person who's facing this dilemma is feeling as perturbed as I am and has called in the same problem...or....

...have any of you ladies had your shoes stretched?  And does it work?

'Be Not Afraid of [Pollen]'

It was so gorgeous out when I took these photos, and despite the fact that I paid dearly for my outdoor romp with a sneezing frenzy, I really enjoyed the balmy warmth of the setting sun.  Oh, Spring, please, I implore you! Come with all your warmth and buds and bugs and do not delay!  I care not that I will sneeze and sniff; just COME!!!!  I don't think I've ever been this obsessed over the weather before.

Anyhoo, thought I'd play on the monotone theme and I sort of like the outcome. 

Really loving my fuchsia lipstick but am wanting to experiment with some other lip shades. Any suggestions?

'Out, Damned Spot'

The BF came up with the idea of shooting some photos at this self service car wash!  Thanks, babe for an awesome idea and for always being so willing to take my picture!  Ahem...just a little shout out to my dude...

This dress did all the color blocking work for me! When I first saw it last year, the orange drew me in even then (as many of you probably know by now, I've been obsessed with orange these days).  I was a bit skeptical about it because of the white and because I feared those mysterious yellow marks that show up on white...not sure if you ladies are also afflicted by this mystery?  But since it went on sale for pennies, I decided to go for it, and I'm proud to report that not one spot has yet surfaced!

And if, by chance, you are afflicted with these mysterious yellow stains, can you offer any advice as to how to get RID of them (since evidently, they are impervious to any sort of detergent!?  Many thanks :)
